Re: Sandals Royal Bahamas?

sorry I haven't been there but when I was deciding on a HM I saw some pics and a video for that location and it looked beautiful. Our travel agent just told us that out of the Sandals resorts I guess the Royal Bahamian tends to be on the quiter side and more laid back. But thats just hearsay... the pics look beautiful... good luck planning

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamas?

Thanks!! We originally booked Sandals St.Lucia but we were hearing so many horror stories so we decided to switch. And we wanted the freedom to be able to venture outside of our hotel. We also love to gamble and my FI has never seen the Atlantis so now we are going to the Bahamas.

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamas?

We went to Sandals Royal Bahamain last in June of 02.
The hotel was really nice.
We stayed in the old building- it wasn't our honeymoon. We had an ocean view and it was
ver pretty.
THe only thing i can complain aboutis that the beach is really beautiful but small.
I also was not blown away by thier private island.
It was one of our favorite vacations- the restaurants were very nice for dinner.
You didn't feel like you were stuck in an ill inclusive.
We had a great time and felt the staff went above & beyond.
THe new buliding I did not go in but the rooms are supposedly unbelievable.
I would definetly go back.
HTH
If you have any more ?s or want specifics- fm me.
