Anyone ever been there or heard anything about it? We are thinking about booking the HM there.

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau
We went there about three years ago and loved it.
The rooms are all concierge and the grounds were beautiful.
We thought the service was good and the pools were wonderful. Loved the Irish Pub!
Beach was ok.. nothing great. Had fun at the Casinos.

We were there in 2003. The grounds are beautiful. Pools with swim-up bar which is great. All inclusive so it is nice you never have to worry about paying for meals, tips etc. Beach was very small. Had fun. We also took a day trip over to Atlantis and thought it was magnificant!!!!! What a property!!! A lot of kids, might be too many for a HM trip, but it was an outstanding resort!!! Lots to do there also!!! Might want to consider that also. Maybe even split your time up if you have decided on the Bahamas for your HM. (IMO)

That's funny, the irish pub was the only place we never got to eat in, and that is the one everyone says is the best.

Us too!!!!!! I can't wait to go back. We figured maybe for our 2 year anniversary. We just bought a house so we can't afford to go back this year
I love the Bahamas. I have been there over 10 times.

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau
My paretns actually went there to celebrate their anniversary a few years ago. they loved the service, room and swim up bar. Also, whirlpools all over...but mom said to tell you to stay away from the rooms towards the back of the property...small no ac and although they had pools associated with small group of rooms, that was the only thng nice about the section (back by the tennis courts). They were dark, very small and not good for hooneymoon.
