I was wondering if anyone had been to this Sandals. I was out shopping yesterday and passed a travel agency that had a sign in the window with an excellent price, but of course they were closed so I couldn't get anymore information. Positives and negatives please! Thanks!

Re: Sandals St. Lucia
sandj100304 - I saw a sign in the window of Empress Travel in Lindenhurst, in the King Kullen shopping center on Park Ave. It said Sandals St. Lucia, 8 days/7nights for $1299 plus tax. There were no other details so I wanted to see if it was worth checking out which Sandals, if airfare is included, what type of room. From the responses, it seems like it would be.

Re: Sandals St. Lucia
We are going to Sandals St. Lucia Grande for our HM.
For the price mentioned below, it is most likely NOT including airfare, which was very expensive for the summer through Air Jamaica...almost $600 per person!
Sandals is amazing though...we are VERY excited. My SIL stayed in the Regency, which is the Golf & Spa resort & loved all of the Sandals!

I know - I didn't realize it either. It's the King Kullen down by Montauk Hwy. The travel agency is near the other end of the shopping center, near the LIPA office. If you check it out and get details, let me know what they say. (I'm still waiting to find out if FH is going to be able to get vacation time from his new job - I've got my fingers crossed!)

Yeah, I think it's per person. I wish they were open when we were there Sunday because I can't get back there until at least this weekend.

Ok, I just called them. That sign was for a couple of days in May only. She said she will look and see if there are any other specials going on. They are having a sandals night on March 29 and they give better deals there too (or so she says). Oh well.

Re: Sandals St. Lucia
I went for my May 2003 wedding and stayed at the Golf & Spa Resort. The place is amazing. Do a search, many brides here including myself have posted reviews and pictures FM if you need any other info.

I knew it was too good to be true! Did she ever get back to you with current prices?

I went to St. Lucia but stayed at the Windjammer Landing, which was BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend it if you're looking for a romantic, rustic getaway.
