We were originally looking at the Grande since we heard it was the nicest, BUT I see that for less than what we'd pay at the grande for a concierge level room, we can get a Butler level room in the bluffs with a private plunge pool and more room ameneties.
Does anyone know the differences between the resorts and have any advice?
ETA: I was wrong. The really nice room at the Regency would be MORE money... boo!

Re: Sandals St. Lucia - Grande vs. La Toc
There are a TON of reviews on these two resorts. I have heard that the Regency is more lively, but the Grande has a better beach. You can skip to all three resorts in St. Lucia, so I would opt for the nicer place for less money!

Re: Sandals St. Lucia - Grande vs. La Toc
I booked at the Regency because we could get the butler service for less then we could at the grande.
From all the reviews I read, this is what I found: The middle resort that starts with an H (forget the name) is more laid back and peaceful. Both the grande and regency have entertainment at night, the chairs by the pool can fill up, etc. The grand is on a pennisula with has the ocean (?) and sea so their beaches are suppose to be nicer. Their rooms are also more...I forget the word she used, not nicer, but more luxurious? But to me the regency rooms also look great! Again, have not been there, this is just the reviews that I read and I also called sandals and asked them the differences. Ultimately we went with the regency due to price.
And you can go to all three resorts, beaches, restaurants, HTH!

I did 7 days in halcyon... so cute!!! beach front. Laid back, then three days w/ the butler room, yet we mustve went to the golf course at the third resort every other day to golf.

Crashing - stay at the Grande. I went there for my HM. I believe it's the only Sandals there that has direct access to the beach. We had a rondoval suite with the plunge pool and barely used it. It was too cold i thought - but we did use the hot tub!! We went to the Regency for dinner and there were cats everywhere (not a fan of that).
