What?! Re-did the back outside? Hmmm not that I am aware of but I haven't been there since October. I know they made renovations to the Skylight room and my FH saw that and said it was beautiful but I didn't know about the outside. Now I have to find out!!
When did you hear this, btw?

Oh, then we might be looking at the same thing. I know I heard they did renovations a long time ago. This is what the back grounds look like now: (I think )
These picks were taken in July 2003.
ETA: The first pic is usually where they setup an outdoor ceremony. The pics of seen with that area set up for a ceremony are gorgeous!
I actually used to be a waitress there for a few years. The place is beautiful and the food is awesome. My sister and I both worked there together and always loved going in early for the free lunch the chefs made for the workers. You know a place is great if someone who worked there eats the food. Good choice!

I am getting married there as well! They havent re-done the outside again but it does look really nice. And I have heard that even when you are there in person and it seems small the photographers make it seem huge when you are taking pics. I would call and talk to George. He has been really accomodating and great to work with.

Re: SandCastle Brides
I just wanted to add if you have the ceremony indoors they use the ballroom but since there are two seperate entrances your guests use one to go into the ceremony and another one to go into the ballroom for the reception - and they put up a divider to make it smaller... it looks totally different. Thats what we were going to do before we decided to get mettied in the church.
