i'm calling to all the sandcastle brides here, my BM Mohammad said we could use their silk flower CPs for free if we like.
are there sandcastle brides here who are going to use (or have used) their silk flower CPs?
i took photos of the ballroom completely decked with those silk CPs and it looked nice. plus i think with their yellowish lighting, the flowers didn't look fake.
we are still undecided whether or not to use the silk CPs but FI really wants to use the silk flowers to cut cost. we've received several quotes from florists and it IS of a substantial amount. his take is that we could use that extra $ for inviting more guests rather than on something that does look nice but eventually has no value. it's a very good point...
what are your thoughts?

I am going back and forth with this.
I want to save money but I am afraid I planned this big elegant wedding and don’t want them to “cheapen” the look as my mom would say.
But they look great so I think I may use them and if anyone thinks they look cheap or whatever they can give me money to buy real flowers lol

i am not using them. im not a big flower person and didnt want to spend alot on flowers, but i think it brings a unique sense to the room instead of the standard silks
before you decide, check out designs by rose. she will work with you budget and her work is GREAT!!

FH REALLY wanted to use them, but I didn't love the way they looked. I think we're going to do something with mostly candles to cut down cost

not me. im really not a cinderella girl. theme if any is cherry blossoms..simple and serene...thats what im going for anyway. o yeah, and fun!

I started out with a theme- black and white w violet accent color. at this point the theme is whatever maria likes, maria gets! i started blinging things out, with hints of violet, and black and white.!!

We're not. I'm definitely not a Cinderella kind of girl. We are doing a very slight beach theme, but I think we would have ended up with that regardless of where we booked.

I am using them.
Didn't think twice about it because they look so real and so nice.
I saw pics of a wedding there where real flowers replaced the silk flowers and just didn't look as nice and elegant.

your theme is going to go great with the renovations!! i saw a piece they put in the CH room and it has aqua colored tiles!

Liv123, I hope you would share pictures with us!!! It will REALLY help persuade me haha. And it's good to know that there IS a bride who will use it.
