SandCastle Caterers in Queens

Does anyone know if this is a good catering hall? Is the food good? Has anyone been to a wedding there recently? Please let me know as this is a place that I am considering... THANKS!

my fiance and I went to see the sand castle and the rooms are okay if u r looking for the whole castle look. The outside area is really pretty. The woman we dealt with as far as gathering info was NOT nice at all. She didn't even ask our names until she realized that we were looking to book A catering hall by the end of the week. All of a sudden we were her best friends I think not.

Thanks AUG21-04. I appreciate the info. I actually dealt with a guy and he was actually very nice. I would really like to know how the food is. I am kinda tossed about the whole castle look myself... although, it does look better in person than on the web. I will still be looking around..

We're having our reception at Floral Terrace (which is owned by the same people that own Sand Castle). I have never heard anything bad about the food, service, etc at either places.

You should do a search, there have been brides that have gotten married there and have posted their reviews here

Oh I didn't know Floral Terrace owned Sandcastle. The food at Floral Terrace is EXCELLENT!

I'm a Sand Castle Bride!!!!! THE FOOD IS ALL I HEAR ABOUT! Everytime I tell anyone that I'm getting married there I ge, 'OHMIGOSH THE FOOD IS GREAT!!!'

Defintely has good food because those reviews come from picky eaters! And I also hear it is very plentiful!

Olgaki is getting married there - you can FM her.

I actually went to wedding there a couple of years ago - if you are ok with teh castle theme then SandCastle is great. THe food was yummy and the service and presentation was really memorable.

My reception is the North Ritz Club in Jan 2005.

I just went to a wedding there on August 10th and it was AMAZING. The food was GREAT and i eat NOTHING usually! LOL The service was amazing -they were so attentive-to the point that my friend asked them to please stop folding her napkin lol-which i happen to think is classy-the decor is not our taste-but if you are looking for great food and service then the SAND CASTLE is definetely worth looking into!
