As of right now sandcastle in franklin square is our #1 choice. I was hoping someone can share their experiences. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

My sister got married there in April of 2007 and people are STILL talking about it to my parents. Also, both sets of parents got so many phone calls the weeks following the wedding saying that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Sand Castle has a good reputation, from what I have heard, and I think it is well deserved. The food is excellent, the room is huge, the service is great. Your guests will definitely be impressed.

that is our RH. we were very impressed with the food and the service. plus, i love that the lights are built into the walls and that its one wedding at a time. good luck!

That's how we felt.
I also feel that, while it's a bit more expensive than other RHs we looked at, you're getting an amazing value!

I think you should book it. They are so great. My sister fell in love with it and booked for the month after my wedding at their other venue Floral Terrace. I love that the waiters asctually where uniforms instead of the standard blak suit. I also love the 1 wedding at a time. Trust me your guests will be blown away. Everytime someone goes with me to make a payment they are in awe.

There is a SEARCH feature towards the top of the page, it really helps narrow down what you are looking for.
I went to a wedding there a few years ago for my cousin. It was great. The food is awesome and I liked the decor. If you both love it, I would say book it.

i went to a wedding there last year.. I have to say I was impressed with the service and there was a ton of food there and it was delicious.. the place is pretty too..good choice.. im sure you will be happy with it!! I couldnt get over how much food they had at cocktail hour.. and I couldnt even touch my dinner which looked delicious cause I was soo full, lol..

Sandcastle was one of the first places that we went to and it was the only one i got butterflies in. We took our parents there to see what they thought last week and it was unanimous, they all LOVED it. Both times we were there we got the royal treatment. Both times the owner Nick (my fiancé's name too lol) was there, he spend no less then half an hour with us the last time, he introduces us to the executive chef, made some adjustments to the price and showed us some remodel plans he was thinking of. I really felt like the place opened just for us that day. We are going for a food tasting this saturday and then we'll book it. Im so EXCITED.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me!! Mom and I visited about 10 halls in westchester....went to SC on a whim, and I got the butterflies too!! totally got teary...lol. Then FH saw it, and LOVED it!!!

We booked it. Went to the food tasting and it was just great. So we figured we might as well just secure the date. There was nothing left to think about, this is out RH. YAY!!!
