Does anyone know or have you seen invitations with a simple sandollar at the top? (I'm thinking white in white). We are having a beach wedding, yet it will still be elegant and I've dremed up these invitations in my head that I cannot seem to find. Even if you know somewhere I could have them designed???

Re: Sandollar Invitations
I think I have but can't remeber where, sorry that doesn't help. But I also have seen some simple ones with a few sea horses at the top which were really pretty, anyway my point is that I think sea horses on a invite to a beach wedding is really cute b/c they mate for life, once they find a partner they link tails and never let go. Sorry this doesn't help at all but I though I would just pass on the info. I think it's sweet.

Re: Sandollar Invitations
Hi : ) Lizarddesigns has one that is pretty cute. Good Luck!!!!
I had a seaside themed wedding, and I just wanted to share some of my ideas with you...for inspiration...
These were my invites. They had the same shell on each piece (reception, response, invite).
Cake:
Pew bows, bouquets, reception centerpieces and accent pieces all had shells in them. Also, I used real sanddollars and raffia string as napkin rings. See the photo below.
This fun, modern invitation is perfect for your beach wedding. Textured, hand-made coconut paper holds a real starfish backed with a square of paper that appears weathered by sun and sea. (Optional sand dollar and seashell also available in place of starfish). Inside, cream-colored cotton paper is paired with crisp, modern type. A coordinating pochette envelope adds interest. Outer envelopes are recommended to protect this delicate invitation.

Re: Sandollar Invitations
Wow - you guys are the best!!! I swear I even did a google search and didn't come up with half of these!
Claud2001, I love love love your ideas. We are actually using real sandollars as placecards (ribbon strung through the hole attahed to the placecard) and so I wanted to carry this theme throughout on the invitations and such.
Thanks eveyone for your help - if anyone comes across anything else 'sandollar' related, please let me know!
