she can't seem to make room for an appointment until december for me.
i don't understand, how does she think i can get to her before 5pm? i'm not taking off a day of work to get a makeup trial.
anyone else experience this with her or other makeup artists?

it;s because she likes you to see how you will look in the daylight because light will affect the look of your makeup...how it looks during the day will look different than at night.
i left work early and got to her at 5pm exactly.

I know that she likes to do your trial in when the sun is still out because she likes to have you see what it looks like in natural lighting and in non-natural lighting situations (trust me, there is a difference).
I had made an appt. with her on a Friday at around 4ish (so I worked a half day so I wouldn't have to actually take the day off) and it worked well for me.
I know the weekends for her are tough because obviously that is when most of her weddings are. Maybe see if it's possible to have her squeeze you into a weekend after she is done with the wedding for that day. That may be your best bet.

yup, i was trying to go later in the day but she gave me the reason above. i just took the day off since i had days to take off - plus it's one less day of work!
