sands point???

does anyone know anything about sands point for pictures???

i'm curious about the permit costs and if it's worth it to travel there day of...FH went there today for a golf outing and is now all about taking pictures there (in the short 1 hour window we have post church). I've only been there once and don't really remember much about it.

I am hoping to take my pictures there it is beautiful the permit is somewhere between $200 and $250.

that's a good point...i think it closes early (4:30????), so i might be out of luck anyhow.
