Re: Sangria anyone?
I magnum of red wine (that's the big bottle).. I like a nice merlot 1/2 cup orange juice 1/2 cup of grand marnier 3 tablespoons or so of sugar
mix all that up together- stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add:
One orange- sliced in rings Green Apple Peach one lemon sliced in rings
Let this sit overnight in fridge.
THEN when you are ready to serve add 1 cup of cold seltzer and some strawberry slices.
It is YUMMY

One bottle of red wine and then some ginger ale or sprite. Then add orange slices and lots of cherries. Thats how I make it.

Re: Sangria anyone?
this is the sangria that they serge at bolo bobby flays restaurant. i love it we make it alot in the summer
2 bottles dry white wine 3/4 cup brandy 1/2 cup triple sec 3/4 cup simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until sugar is dissolved) 3 to 4 white peaches, skinned and pureed or 1 cup peach nectar 3 oranges, sliced into thin rounds 3 green apples, cored and sliced thin 2 lemons, sliced into thin rounds 4 peaches, pitted and sliced thin
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher. If using fresh peaches, taste for sweetness and add more syrup, if needed. Refrigerate, covered, 2 hours or up to 2 days. Serve over ice.
