My parents went to look at Sans Souci for me (since I'm in Virginia) and they said that they had to drive through a not-so-nice area, passing by these big ugly powerplants. They were not happy about that. I've never heard anybody on the boards mention these things about Sans Souci. Is there maybe different ways to get there, and my parents just happened to take the wrong route?
They probably came from the east side, which is how I did as well. To be honest, who cares what your drive through if the place is beautiful, price is good and food is tasty. Just my opinion. It's a very pretty place, but not so big. Good Luck.
They must have come through the east side. If you come down through the town of Sea Cliff, it's very pretty. I didn't find the power plants to be a problem, because they are far enough away from location that they don't detract from the party.
I remember thinking that when I went to look, and then totally forgot about it when we got to SS. Not one of my guests mentioned it, and we had some pretty vocal & opinionated people there.
