Sans Souci of Sea Cliff vs. Swan Club

Has anyone looked at both swan club and San Souci of Sea Cliff? Any thoughts on the two of them?

My Bro had his wedding at the Sans Souci & I looked at the Swan Club for my own wedding. Sans Souci was nice. The food was great and cocktail hour was great, cause its outside. It is a little small though, it was very tight at my bro's wedding. If you are planning to have more than 150 guests, I wouldn't do it there. I really liked the Swan Club, but in the end we chose CLM, but not for any bad reasons against Swan Club. I actually had Swan Club as my first choice until I saw CLM.

Thank you so much for your help. The size at San Souci would probably be pretty good then because we are actually trying to keep it small. We're hoping to not have to go over 100 people. Initially we were hoping to keep it around 70 but we have been having a tough time cutting the list! How many people did your brother have in the room when he got married?

I think my brother had 160 ppl. It was definitely crowded, but not horrible. The tables were just very squished together. Also, there is this smaller 'room' off of the main room that a few tables were in. They are just a little out of the way, but still open to the main room. A few of my brother's friends' tables were in that room. I don't think anyone minded though.

Oh, and although I don't eat fish, I heard that Chilean Sea Bass was amazing. People were raving about it.

I also liked how the bar was right next to the dance floor, made for an easy time to get a drink and hang out with everyone, even if you are not dancing, you feel like you are in the middle of everything.

I looked at the Swan Club and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous!! I felt that the rooms were a little small though. I also did not want to have to depend on weather for my day to be amazing.

I got married at Sans Souci and we loved it there. We had about 130 at our wedding and I wouldn't go over that. We lucked out as well, we got married in October and we had an 80 degree day so we were able to have the cocktail hour outside. The food was great too!

I looked at both. I loved the Swan Club. It was just beautiful. I also really liked the country chic feel of San Succi, but if you get married there, you are getting married overlooking a road and right next to hall is a construction site which sort of ruined the effect of the hall. JMHO.

If my wedding was going to be smaller I would have booked Sans Souci ON THE SPOT. i totally loved it...and the fact that it looked like you were in a beautiful home and not a RH.

Boo to large families!!!!!!!!

Def The Sans Souci, Food is amazing, we went there for a co workers wedding last year, they had 150 people and is was very comfortable. The fact the the dance floor does not separtate the dinning area is really great. The outdoor view is beautiful and very romantic. It used to be a mansion long ago, its sooo intimat, you feel like a princess in your own home. If you like the idea of being the only bride and food is important do the Sans Souci you cant go wrong.

Good Luck
Polina :)
