Anyone ever been or know anything about it? My boss just got back on Tuesday and said it was absolutely amazing and has suggested it as a honeymoon spot.

Re: Santonorini, Greece
That's one of the stops on our HM cruise. It's supposed to be one of the most beautiful places on earth!

There's some info on Greece in general. We want to go to Athens, Mykonos and Santorini for our HM as well.

Re: Santonorini, Greece
Santorini was a great island. Absolutely beautiful and has some world famous sunsets. People gather on in the streets and on the rooftops in Oia to see the sunset. You can rest at the beach, take the volcano tour and boat trip, visit the ruins, go shopping...it was a great time. You can also do a trip to another island by ferry or prop plane. First pic is of the capital Fira as we left on the boat to the volcano. Second & third pics are of people waiting for the sunset in Oia. Fourth is the moon over Oia.
Oh....my goodness. The villas look so cool. Anyone else know more?????

Re: Santorini, Greece
If you can wait 2 months...I can give you a ton of tips. We're going there for our HM - the first few days in Athens and the rest of the 2 weeks in Santorini.
We got a plethora of info from a man we work with - he has visited about 45 of the Greek Isles and recommended Santorini over all of them. It's not known for its beaches...more for the romance of it.
We chose to stay in Oia - instead of Fira (which is busier...but only about 15 or so minutes from Oia). We're staying at Katikies. Our co-worker also recommended Sun Rocks and Atlantis and Canaves.
We booked through M&M Travel - Mike was super helpful...they're a vendor on here so you can inquire about rates and such through the Vendor Board.
I have more links on my work PC - I'll post them tomorrow.

Re: Santorini, Greece
WE went last year and loves it! he scenery is beautiful- we stayed all the way up and our hotel had a direct line with the sunset over the caldera. High up- (thats where we got engaged) Iliovasilema Hotel ( sunset in Greek - I think) Santorini
As far as beaches- keep in mind that its a volcanic island so the sand is black making the water not appear transparent like most of the Mediterannean. We LOVED that island.
By the way Jordan- Your hotel links look gorgeous!!!!! Enjoy- You are making me want to go back !
