I had a question...If you want to figure out the 'net carbs' in a cetain product what do you do? I know you subtract fiber grms but what else?

Hey what's up! You're getting close girl... wedding time soon.

Net carbs is amount of carbs minus anything that has no impact on blood sugar (fiber and sugar alcohol)...

so for example if something has 13 grams of carbs, 2 grams fiber and 7 sugar alcohols then net carb would be 4!

I know only 96 days left! Time is flying!! How's married life?

Okay...what if it doesn't say (which most products don't) sugar alcohols? Thats were I'm getting confused...
Thanks for your help

well if it has something like that- it would be listed because it's technically a 'carb'.. if it isn't listed then it would be real sugar, fructose or maybe malitol? Malitol is a form of sugar alcohol.
