What's the thought on this...did anyone ever do one....I would love to have a sat night wedding but if I do an after party maybe its kinda the same....input ladies pleeeeeeeeeeease....THANKS!!!!

our reception is at 1230 to 5:30 and my mom plans on having people back at her house to have munchie food for people, so that people can just relax an continue having fun...she told me she was doing this....so this is all her...
I plan on being there WITH my dress on...I am wearing that baby till FH takes it off that night!

i had an afterparty - we went to a sports bar afterwards and it was a lot of fun. I am glad we did it, even though I was exhausted, 5:30 seemed to early to end the festivities!

I am a Sat. afternoon wedding and we are doing an after-party.... nothing crazy, just at the hotel bar. but i am excited because it will kind of prolong the day and i'll get to mingle more with guests.

We did this and I am SOOOOO happy. I did not want the day to end and it went perfectly. The people that were pooped got to leave and go home and all the rest got to continue the party elsewhere!

my sister had one and to be honest it was fun but not really for her... well hers was at her house (its on the water, a great party place for the summer). Her FH wound up getting drunk and they had people there all night... all she wanted to do was lay down and relax but she felt like she had to entertain everyone....

I plan on having an after party, our wedding ends at 5.. we figured all go back to the hotel/our houses... freshen up... get some more eats.. then get a taxi comp. van to take us to a few bars then back to the hotel bar! i know its a long day .... but ill be running on so much adrenaline i won't notice!

Our wedding was 1230-530. We had an after party at the hotel. It was awesome!

Our reception was 1-6pm and then we partied in the hotel with pizza, beer and wine until 11pm/12am with all the guests! It was wonderful!
Our reception ends @ 5. There are a few restaurants by the hotel, so we'll be heading over there

Our reception ended at 6:00p.m. on a Saturday afternoon - we invited some of our closes family and friends back to the hotel where we were staying for a an after party. The OOT guests were staying there too. We had the party by the pool. A lot of people spent the night, and we hosted a breakfast the next day.
