OK Jas & I have decided to have our wedding at my restaurant....
We're undecided
if we want it on a Sat. afternoon to night (8 hour affair w/ ceremony) After the ceremony the restaurant will open to the public like usual, and our reception will be on the second floor...
If we have it on Sun 11-11-07
The restaurant would be closed to the public all day and we can start any time (most likly 1:00 & go to 9:00) The reception would still be upstairs, however the cocktail hour & a half would be downstairs right after the ceremony.
The restrooms wouldn't be shared w/ the customers if we have it on a Sunday.
As A guest what would you prefer? A Sat Wedding or A Sunday Wedding?
We decided it's better to ask you ladies than our guest b/c we can't please them all & we don't want to dissapoint anyone.

I prefer Sat. weddings - I don't party as much knowing I have work the next day. IMHO

I would prefer to attend your wedding on the Sunday due to the logistics. It will truly be a private event that way.

i prefer a Sat wed as well - i am more relaxed, am able to drink and party more on a Sat as opposed to a Sun.

I would do it on a Sunday! I am big on privacy and if it will be over by 9 people will have PLENTY of time to get home early. Do it on Sunday! XOXOXO Kitty

I think I like Sat night better because people don't have work the next day but do you really want to be sharing the restrooms with people just eating there?

THINK OF IT THIS WAY..
IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT SHARING BATHROOMS..
WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU REALLY LOVED A PLACE AND THEY WERE ABLE TO HOLD 2 WEDDINGS AT A TIME W/ ONLY 1 SET OF BATHROOMS..

I prefer saturday weddings. people are more relaxed, and many people don't work on sundays.

i'd go with the sunday wedding----more private ........... when it comes to weddings, i don't think people really care what day its on b/c its such a special occasion---whats one sunday before a mondays work day?? i never think about what day the wedding is on--i am just happy to be invited!!! granted a sat. might be easier--i don't see anything wrong with choosing a sunday especially if it is more convenient with setting up and more privacy!!!! good luck in your choice!

I would prefer Sat to Sun, but, if it's only going till 9pm, I think Sun is fine especially since it would only be your guests!

Sunday is the new it day for weddings, it seems like you will have more privacy with the Sunday wedding, if it will not cost any more I say go for the Sunday.

it would probably be better to have it on a sunday that way you have the whole place to yourself..but most guests would probably enjoy a sat. wedding...HTH
