FSIL proposed having a SATC day where us girls get dresses up and go to eat in the city. We are looking for somewhere, preferably with an outside area, where we can have a good time (and people watch too!)
any suggestions for a fun girls day?!?!

Blue Water Grill...is that the name of it? My friend who's like obsessed with SATC used to go there all the time - said that the ladies on the show would go there. I don't know much about the show. She now lives in Maui so it's too early to call her, LOL! I think that was it...Blue Water Grill, right off of Union Square.

There is a Blue Water Grill in Union Square, so that must be it.

I second Spice Market.
Also try Buddha Bar, Buddakan or Asia De Cuba in the Morgans Hotel.
My girls took me to Asia De Cuba and it was fantastic!

blue water grill has a outside area but imo the downstairs is so much better. they have a jazz band that plays. sushi samba also has a area where you can eat outside as well.
tao is great!!!!!!!!!! asia de cuba is sick too!!!!!!!!!
if it wasnt for satc i wouldnt have been able to tell fh to take me to any of these places. lol
they all serve great food!!!!!!

They used to have lunch at Cafeteria all the time! It isn't outdoors - but it's my recommendation for if its raining!

I had my batchelorette at Cassa La Femme-- an egyption themed restaurant in SoHo with belly dancers-- really fun!!!

They went to Cafeteria a lot, but to me, the food is just okay. As soon as I saw your post I thought of Blue Water Grill. But don't know if you can reserve outside area.
