Hope your weekend is starting off well and you're enjoying it. We talk a lot about our weddings here and sometimes miss who the person is behind the avatar and the number of posts. So my question today is about you:
**What is one of your passions besides wedding planning ??* and **what are you most proud of when it comes to this passion**
If you've met me personally or have seen my facebook page you would know that I have a passion for photography. I am always using my eyes to map out a great photo and usually have my point and shoot camera with me. I've been able to capture some great scenic photos while traveling as well as incorporate some artistry into my shots.
I'm proud of the fact that we have some great artwork for our home through my photos. My FH was originally bored with the fact that I always needed to take photos all over.. But now looking back it reminds us of when we were dating or visiting a place.
Hope you guys enjoy everyone's answers and learn something new about a fellow bride today!!
Have a great day!!

Re: ~~~SATURDAY 12/18 QOTD~~~
Ice Hockey is my passion in life.
I'm most proud of the fact that I am 30 years old and have been playing for 27 years and counting! I hope to continue playing until I am in my 50's if not longer. Oh and my other proud moment is when I decided to pass on my passion by coaching girls hockey. I love it and their cute little faces make my day every single practice and game!

My biggest passion is traveling. I love going to a new place and finding the hidden spots that only the locals know about.
It started with my first interstate move to college, and I've been traveling a lot since. I'm proud to say that I've spent a lot of time in every major city on both West and East Coasts. I'm proud to say that FH and I have a diverse group of friends that stretches the entire country because of all the traveling that we had done before we met and while we have been together.
We're trying to squeeze another few small trips in before our wedding and honeymoon next year.

I have a passion for travel!!!!!!
My proudest moment was hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with the Type 1 diabetes...it wasn't easy, but I am so glad that I did it!

**What is one of your passions besides wedding planning ??* photography. It's about the only thing that I do in my spare time that makes me happy. I enjoy the idea of capturing a moment in time (whether it be my nephew's first birthday, or a loved ones wedding day, or just a great day I spent with my group of friends) and being able to look back the pictures and re-live the experience.
**what are you most proud of when it comes to this passion** I think I am most proud of the fact that I learned everything I know about photography on my own. I never took a class for it or even knew what half of the buttons on the camera did when I first started out. I asked a good friend on mine years back for a good camera suggestion, took his advice and bought it, and I learned from there. I loved using my friends as guinea pigs for my photography. And even when I wasn't looking for it, I was offered a job to work at a studio in Long Island shooting weddings/bat mitzvahs/sweet 16s/etc. Although the pay was crappy, I had so much fun doing it and being able to capture that moment for those people.
