~*~*SATURDAY 8/8/09 QOTD~*~*

Happy Saturday! FH and I are off to Fire Island for the day, but here’s today’s question….

The other day, I said you could have a magical day doing anything you wanted, but you had to spend it alone. Today’s question is a little different:

If you could relive any day of your relationship with FH/DH, what would that day be? Would you change anything about it?

I would want to relive a day we spent in Hawaii a couple of years ago. We hiked the Kalalau trail on Kauai (which is a difficult, muddy trail along the Napali coast). I hated the hike. The scenery was beautiful, but I was dirty, sweaty AND I’m scared of heights and there are some parts of it where you’re basically hanging on a ledge over the coastline! It took about 2 hours to get to the beach at the end. When we got to the beach at the end, there was a little cave. FH took me in the cave and whipped off his backpack. He had surprised me and packed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for us along with a small bottle of wine. We sat in the cave, took our shoes and socks off and dangled them in the water and ate our PB&J sandwiches and drank our wine straight out of the bottle. It was one of my favorite moments in life, and I’d love to relive it! I wouldn’t change a thing!

first off have a great time in fire island and i actually have a friend who was going there for the day as well

the day i would relive with fh would be almost 9 years ago...see fh and i were best friends b4 we ever started dating and for months he tried to get me to be more than friends but i always said no because he was my best friend and i didnt want to lose that

so they day i would go back to is when we finally got together..when he talked to me and said how we should be together and how he could never hurt me so we had no chance of ruining the friendship and how he knows in his heart this feels right and all this other gooey mushy perfect stuff..i woould love to back knowing that 9 years later we r still as happy as can be

Ooh this is a tough one!

The obvious answer would be our wedding day, since it went so fast that I can barely remember anything.

But I'd also really like to go back to the day we got engaged - DH said some of the sweetest stuff ever but I was so caught off guard I only remember bits and pieces.

(Really what I should work on is my memory bc it s*cks. )

best day of my life...well that is soo far, ask me next week and i might have a new best day of my life!!!
