Good morning ladies hope everyone is keeping cool its going to be a hot one today!
Today's question is did your FH pick out your e-ring or did he have any help? Were you surprised when he proposed or did you know it was coming ?
I had been showing FH e-rings for the past 2 years so he knew exactly what I wanted! I was a little surprised I knew it was coming but he had kept telling me not this year maybe next year I guess he wanted me to be surprised!

FH went ring shopping with my dad, but ended up picking my ring on his own. I had NO IDEA it was coming. I knew it would eventually, but I was clueless.

i was surprised because it was earlier than i thought it would be, not because i didnt think it would happen FW picked it out on her own, with information stored in her brain from when we had talked about other peoples' rings.

We want shopping so he could get the feel of what I liked and didnt like b/c he wanted me to love the ring ....but he got the ring i fell in love with ...and yes i was so stocked the pics are in my album ...u would get a kick out of my face LOL

FH went ring shopping with his dad and sister. I had no idea I was getting engaged. I thought maybe a few years from now. It wasa total surprise, I even asked if he was serious!!! Lol
Im so glad we didn't wait, now I cant wait to get married :)

He went with his mother to pick out my ring, but picked it out himself. He took pics of a ring I wear every day (a vintagey amethyst ring) and brought it to the jeweler and said 'I want something like this!' lol. He went back and forth between two rings before selecting mine, which I love.
I actually had an idea because he was acting weird and stuff, but I didn't expect how and where.

I told FH what I wanted but he picked my ring on his own. He took my sister with him when he went shopping to make sure that I would like it. When he proposed it was a complete shock. He invited my ENTIRE family over his parents house for Christmas Eve dinner and did it in front of everyone. It was the cutest most memorable moment of my life so far. He was so nervous. It was the cutest thing!

FH picked out the ring. We were engaged once before back in 2006/2007 and he picked out a ring that looked just like the first ring. (his mom claims she still has the 1st ring however whenever FH asked for it she always had an excuse so he just said whatever and bought me a new one...we think she might have pawned it)
I was surprised that he was going to purpose but he was acting all weird that day.

FH and I went ring shopping a few times though out our years together. I had picked out the ring I wanted, but FH picked a similar ring. I LOVE my e-ring! He did such a great job!! I don't even remember the ring that I had originally picked.
I was very surprised when FH proposed. I knew it was coming, but I never thought he would do it. Lol

I picked out my ring about a week before I proposed. I am so glad he asked me to go ring shopping w/him b/c I'm very picky and picked out my ring and wedding band at the same time. I am very happy.

My Fiance' picked out my ring all on his own! But he did ask my Parent's permission!
I had always said that I wanted to be dating for a year and a half - 2 years before we got engaged since we knew pretty early on that we'd be together forever. We had a trip to Las Vegas planned (where I was born & lived for the first two years), so I had this weird feeling that he'd propose then and funny enough, he did! And we were a week away from dating for a year and a half!

We went shopping together so he basically knew what I wanted, but I gave him a little creative freedom too. I wasn't surprised, but it was still lovely :)

FH picked out my ring on his own. I really wasn't sure what type of ring I wanted; I just wanted a ring...LOL!!!! I love my ring and he made a great choice. I kind of knew it was coming only because the same night he asked my mother she told me. But he didn't do it right away so it was a little of a surprise. I had been discussing him proposing for 2 years before he proposed. He kept telling me that it would happen when I leasr expect it. Then last year I stopped talking about it and just let it happen.

The box that my e-ring came in lit up and the first thing I said was 'Oh my god, the box lights up'. FH wasn't pleased with my initial response. HAHA I was surprised! What can I say??
