Name 3 things you have learned from FH!

1- Car maintenance! I had NO clue how to check tire pressure, oil or anything for that matter before meeting him!

2- How to be patient!

3- That I can do anything I put my mind to- like lose 80 lbs!

1. I will be learning next week how to shoot a gun

2. That life is not all about work

3. How important it is to cherish your family and what you have. This one probably sounds funny. But fh lost both of his parents and it has taught me to not stress over the stupid stuff and that you never know when you are going to lose someone.

Wow this is tough---FH had never lived away from his mom before so I feel like I had to teach him a lot of things, especially when it comes to household stuff.


1. Anything to do with my cell phone, apps, features-- he's in the biz so he knows way more

2. How to DVR something. I could not handle that remote at first.


3. The news of the day...he's a psycho about news and I never watch it . He tells me daily news stories that are current that i have no idea about or ones from years ago that I had no clue had happened

1. All about cars. Before I met him, I didn't even know how to change a tire.

2. Not to be fearful of new things. I always used to shy away from things that my mind perceived as dangerous (including shooting a gun, which I quickly got over cause it was so much fun!!)

3. He teaches me patience, although it doesn't always work :p

omg i keep telling mine he needs to teach me since he will be keeping his off duty and sometimes on duty gun in house and he keeps telling me 'the last thing in the world you need to know is how to use a gun' lol but in all honesty i think that if its in the house and if god forbid i ever need to use i should know how too....

what'd you say to get him to teach you?

1 - 'to look befor i jump' i've always been of a do now think later kinda person, while hes the one who weighs out every outcome first then decides if something is good or bad lol

2- how to successfull use ebay i no longer pay full price for anything lol

3 - how to use the dvr


and a whole bunch of other stuff but thats all i can think about this early in the morning lol

me toooooooooo with #3

1. Eating food is fun & you don't always have to count the calories or read the nutrition facts.

2. Watching football is not as bad as you think & going to games is even more fun.

3. Spending excessive amounts of money on clothes is ridiculous...he's saved me a lot of money since I've been with him!

Congrats on the weight loss! Wish my FH could teach me that.

1. I learned to have a lot of patience when communicating how we are feeling.

3. I'm still learning how to be more responsible with money. (He's such a stickler!)
