Saturday: The 14th.

I am going to a Demetrios Trunk show at Macys Manhasset.

Should I bring style numbers...or go in with a clear head and just try on what i like?

first time looking for dresses. not a clue as to what im doin!

Definitely bring style numbers or pictures of the dresses you like. That'll give the salepeople a place to start. As you try them on, take mental notes on what you like or don't like about the dress. Tell the salesperson, and they'll (hopefully) bring you other dresses that are in line with what you like.

I would definitely go in with pictures of the style you like, BUT you should really be open minded since it is your first time trying on dresses and try on things even if you don't like them on the hanger. It's funny because usually you wind up buying a dress that you never would have thought!

yay good luck! and you can bring other dresses bc i mean, the rest of the store is also open so you can look at whatever you want! ( i think)

bring them but they might not have them--

sometimes trunk shows have new styles altogether or older ones that might have been discontinued

i would just go there n try on anything u like!!!

Hey Diane...Macy's in Manhasset was actually the 1st place I looked. I had some pictures of dresses that I liked and the woman who helped me Barbara(so nice!!!!) pulled those and others that were similar that she thought I might like.
They won't let you take pictures unless you put a deposit down. You could always put $100 down and even if you don't end up getting your dress there they also have MOB & BM dresses you can apply the money towards.

Oh....they have all the new styles in already for Fall 2007. So if you see something new you like they are probably the 1st to have it since it is exclusively Demetrios. They also carry certain Demetrios gowns that are exclusive to Macy's. I believe it's called the Diamond collection.

You can...I had a picture of a Casablanca that I loved the top of. The salesgirl picked out dresses that had the same bodice.

First off..that is my 3mth mark

Def. go in with some styles..but also be open minded to other styles. When I first went in to try on dresses ( I went to Davids Bridal)..I did nt have any styles..but I had an idea of what I wanted..funny thing is my dress is the complete opposite of what I orginally wanted..go figure.
