Save $ on DJ?

I met with LI Sound and Tommy Tunes. Both are great. Wondering if I should stop there or keep looking for a better price. I've heard After Hours is reasonable. Anyone know their prices? Looking for a DJ and MC and 2 piece strings for ceremony.

I met with all 3 of them and liked them all. On top of that - they were all within the same price range. I ended up going with Tommy's Tunes because I had a good experience with them at a friend's wedding and just liked Tommy's personality and honesty.

I looked at Tommy Tunes and LI Sound. Loved them both but went to TT because I got more for my money and they have an outstanding reputation. Plus I have seen them at other weddings and the dance floor was packed all night. They def have DJ,MC, and strings packages. We booked a pianist through them.

I have seen After Hours and they were also excellent although I did not meet with them and do not know of their pricing.

For the brides who booked Tommy Tunes, which DJ and/or Emcee. Were you able to state this in the contract. Thanks

Joe E. is My MC. I was able to put it in my contract. Joe E. or Frank are the BEST! As far as the DJ, that will be determined a few months prior.

I have Joe E too. It's written on my contract. He's another reason we booked. We met him in person and I thought he would mesh well with both families.

We looked at all 3 and went with After Hours. LI Sound was just not our feel at all and TT just didn't do it for us. Phil at After Hours was awesome and really got us.

Although I loved my experience with Tommy Tunes, I was able to save a large amount of money by booking with Absolute Entertainment! I had a very good experience with Kevin the owner. They also came highly recommended to me by several past couples :)

I threw out the pricing for After Hours and LI Sound, but for the package I wanted - they all fell within $200.00 of each other. Then I called Tommy and told him I liked his company the best and wanted to see if he could work with me. He did, which made him my favorite and least expensive option, but I didn't call and try to negotiate further with the other guys. They may also be willing to work with you more.
