Save the date

How much are you girls planning to spend on your STD's? Most magnets are close to $1 each and I'm not sure I want to spend that much....

Re: Save the date

I was thinking about it $$ wise. I may send the save the dates out with my Christmas Cards next year...that way I can spend the $$ on the magnets but save on Postage....

I think we are planning to do the small magenets on Vista Print. 50 of them for 19.99, 100 of them for 34.99.

Yeah, thats a good idea. But I want to send them out by June. I'm assuming most people throw them out after the wedding, so why spend so much?

Re: Save the date

I'm a magnet person myself...

I used the instructions someone posted on here for DIY magnets and its not that hard creating the template. But the sheets are still 3 bucks a peice, so between the time, and fitting about 9 per sheet, its worth it just to pay to have it done. Lemme know if you find anything else thanks!

Re: Save the date

well also keep in mind that you dont send it to every single guest you plan on inviting so its less than you are probably thinking it would cost

Re: Save the date

If I remember correctly, I think our magnet STD's were around $150 for 200 of them.

Re: Save the date

the magnets arent as expensive as you think if you are sending only one to each household. i figure one house=one fridge=one magent. if you send to each person, then that can get pricey.

I'm not doing magnets, but I am doing picture collages 4X6 at Target. they are like .20 each

I was thinking on magnets but might do save the date postcards or something else that I can design on the computer myself.
