When is a good time to send out the 'Save the date' cards?
Also, please let me know what you think of the bridesmaid dresses?

Most books and websites I've read say 6-9 months is a good timeframe. I'm sending mine out tomorrow, so that's about 6 and 1/2 months. I would've sent them a LOT sooner if my FMIL had gotten me her addresses months ago like I asked!!

don't go by me b/c i sent mine out just before the 1 year mark. i had them for a little while and just wanted to get them out! i would say anywhere from 9-12 months before the wedding!

We did the same thing - sent them out about a year in advance!
A lot of it can depend on the date...if you are doing it on a holiday weekend - you may want to send them out much earlier....etc.

good point! my wedding is Columbus Day weekend. That was a thought at some point when I was sending them out!
