Save the Date

Save the Date

Is there anyone else who is not sending out Save the Dates??? It's not that i don't want to (i think they are gorgeous!) I guess i figured everyone who knows us knows our date, especially considering at the engagement party (which 140 of our wedding guests attended) i gave out a scroll with our wedding website and the date of the wedding. Mostly everyone gave me their emails so i send out a mass email on the 28th of every month reminding them that the wedding is in x amount of months. Should i still send out save the dates??

I sent STD's because I didn't have an e-party and we're not in touch w/ a lot of people very often who we plan to invite.

U definitely don't have to send them. I've gone to plenty of weddings with no STD's sent.

I didn't--I felt that those that are close and that I def want there--they know the date and it has been passed on
I didn't feel it was necessary--but everyone is different

I looks like you don't really need to send them. In my case I am going to send STDs because FH and I did not have an e-party and our wedding date is during a holiday weekend (July 6).

i didn't want to, but i'm having my wedding a holiday weekend and all of his family is WAAAY oot and have been asking for all the info b/c they need to save up and plan way in advance. they were kinda expecting it so i went with it. i'm hoping they'll make me life easier in the long run.

I think it is totally up to you. If you want to send them so that people have them as a keepsake, then that's fine. But if everyone already knows, you can just save the money!
