A website, if you have one so your guests can check out more information regarding your wedding.

Mywedding.com has great layouts to use!

I have the same problem so I did not put either. I figure when they get the invite they will know.

Plus most everyone knows where we are getting married.

Re: Save the Date

i have a quick question about this...

Do you have to put things like 'Save the Date' and 'Formal invitation to follow'? Because of the design I chose, we're really limited in space and wanted to just put the basics... Is it implied that it's a save the date and they are invited to the wedding if I don't include it on the std?

TIA!

I put 'save the date' but i did NOT put 'invitation to follow'. I was also limited on space and figure by now people know if they get a STD they will get an invite

You can do whatever you want with a save the date. I read up on them a lot a few months ago. They are meant to be fun, and show your personality, and there are no rules to them.

Re: Save the Date

Our actual save the date magnet had our names, the date, the city of the ceremony, and a link to our wedding website.

We had a magnet, and used a little poem:

The wedding may still be a bit away
but we hope you can join us on our day

January 2010 our vows will be made
Sunday the seventeenth is the date to be saved

The date is coming fast, and we can't wait
Please put this magnet on the fridge
and be sure to save the date
