I sent mine out in Febuary and I am getting married in October but I am on a holiday weekend. Otherwise I would say 6 months in advance!

I sent mine out last week - 9 months before. Partially because I have alot of overseas guests and I know they start thinking about there summer vacation plans bery early. I think 6 months before is average unless it is a holiday weekend.

We sent ours the last week in August for our May 1st wedding. It was as soon as we set the date & had the cards made. Think I did it mostly because I was so excited and wanted people to know we finally set a date! We got engaged in December and had some things going on that were more important than planning a wedding.

I will be sending ours out next week (i've had them for a while now but i just sent out our engagement pictures 2 weeks ago). We're having our wedding on a Thursday before memorial weekend. But you can send it out about 6 months before your wedding unless it is a holiday weekend.
