save the date address question

Getting ready to send out our STD`s... did you print the addresses on labels or write them out? What is the 'proper' way of doing this?

I used labels. It was easier since my hand would have hurt writing out 150 envelopes!

I did labels as well. I realized I had old addresses for a couple of them so some were hand written.

I printed out labels too!I knew i was going to need to have to write everyones addresses out multiple times for all of the cards and thank yous. Saved me a lot of time!

Clear labels! We were going to do calligraphy for the invites but it's too expensive and just not worth it (IMO) so we'll use labels for them as well

Labels! Saved everything on a template and put it on a usb stick, and took it staples to print. Cost us $3 to print 115 labels!

I had wrote out all of mine on a neat print. I didn't mind because I'm having a small wedding so there was only about 50 save the dates. I'm not a fan of labels personally so I hand write most mailings but fur the wedding invites I'm printing right onto the envelope a faux calligraphy.

Labels! I don't believe it is the proper thing for invites (I say for STD do whatever your want, no rules) but that is what I will be doing. The envelope is the one sure thing that goes in the garbage-- at least the invite hangs on the fridge for a month lol. No one will say ew labels? And if they do, I am not the problem lol.

I got a gold sharpie (one of our colors) and hand did them. I learned a while ago how to write in that scroll style so they came out very nice. It did take a few days but I'm happy with doing the work! I'm not tech savvy so printing labels was just not an option for me

This is great! I did not realize I could print them at Staples (thought I would have to buy a whole thing of label sheets).

Thanks
