date card/newsletter

The newsletter is a cute idea, I wish I did that. We sent ours out in November for our May wedding. We bought cute wedding bordered paper from Kinkos and printed somthing like

Please plan to join us on 5/27/00 as we celebrate our marriage. (I can't remember what else I wrote but it filled the paper) and we made reference to our webpage on the knot.

At least it's not in the line of sight. I guess it ties into their history of being around since the 1800's.. I think I did try to view your pics before and didn't get them to load, I was probably impatient...I'm going to try again now. Thanks. This was my third visit since we booked and each time I have been very pleased with what I saw going on there. We are going to go for a tasting in November or even January so the food is fresh in our mind when we pick the menu. How are your plans otherwise??

With the hotel bookings, make sure you read the fine print if you get paper work on your dicounted rooms. A friend of mine had a little contract for the amount of roomsrequested and at what rate and in fine print it said she was responsible for all rooms not booked, she had them change the contract. So be careful.

We are using him next summer & two separate couples recommended him to us. We absolutely loved his work (including my future mother-in-law who is very hard to please!). His style is very candid & photojournalistic. I also like that he is an independant photographer, because I really feel like you get personal service. He is a little pricey, but most "candid" photographers are.

In case you don't have it, his website is http://www.avidon.com
