How far in advance should I send out save the date cards? (wedding is May 05)
Anyone know where I can get some simple, nice ones for not a lot of $$? I just want plain small cards. In Manhattan area.
How much is the postage for these?

Re: save the date cards?
I am not in Manhattan, so I cannot offer any advice there (Though I'm sure there are LOTs of great places!!). I ended up ordering mine from a stationer, but before i did this, I was looking at these new papers Hallmark put out. They are pretty papers to make STDs. You type what you want and print them out. They were really cute! Just one idea........
Unless they are square, they should be regular postage.

Re: save the date cards?
We made our own cards and saved a lot of $$$. We designed them on Microsoft Word with a clip-art picture of two bears in wedding outfits, printed out four cards per page and copies them onto Ivory cardstock at Kinkos and had them cut them evenly for us. Bought ivory card-shaped envelopes at Office Max for $5 I think and used clear labels we printed the addresses on.
