Some people are telling me save the date magnets are tacky. I personally think they are cute and it will keep everyone mindful of the date when they start planning summer vacation. I was also thinking of stickers you can just stick to the calendar. What do you think?

i dont think the magnets are tacky at all.....but IMO you should do what you want! dont worry about other people bc they will always have an opinion

I think they are really cute, I'm not doing mine cause I'm trying to save that money. Also because my wedding is in March and there are no big holidays, and its not wedding season so.

I loved the idea of STD's. Especially since we have out of town guests attending. It gives them time to make arrangements and so forth. These are ours.
i did magnets......i like them bc people can put them on the fridge and they wont loose them as easily

I don't think STD magnets are tacky at all. We're doing them. If you like them, then go for it. I think stickers are a very cute idea too!

Magnets are great you can put them up on the fridge, everyone has to go the fridge. It's a friendly reminder.

Initally I thought the same too,, Some one in my family got married last year & sent one to us, Before I was engaged,, I was like OH plusesssse
But then it grew on me, & FH went & bought the magnets himself & asked me if we could do them ,,
Im glad i did , it was such a hit with everyone, especially the out of towners,,,
the only prob we had was everyone was asking if fh was stoned,, looks like that in the pic, but he wasnt , had montazumas revenge,, (pic was from a vaction),, LOL
I don't think they are tacky at all and I am doing them myself. You can always use a magnet for the fridge and they will see it everyday!!!

they arent tacky at all, i have received some and they are great. my moh is giving them as her engagement favor. we decided not to i created ours on shutterfly.com its an 5x7 pic. and alittle cheaper...so hopefully it will be put on the frigde

def don't think they are tacky .. i am doing them since my wedding is during the holiday and i have ALOT of OOT guests so i think it will be a nice reminder .. i always can use a magnet

I don't think the STD magnets are tacky either... I love this idea - plus it is on the Fridge and will be remembered! I like the STD's for my OOT guests - I was talking to a friend of mine regarding my wedding and she has her vacation planned for 2007 - I believe she will be back in time for my wedding...that is when I said to myself I should send out STD's...
You should do whatever you like it is yourrrrr wedding!!
