Save The Date HELP

Save The Date HELP

I am running into a problem.
Both of my children are getting married within 3 months of eachother. My son is July 4th, my daughter is October 31st.

I have created the STD mailings for my son's wedding, but I need something to incorporate with them. I don't want to just mail a tri-fold paper, I need to be creatative. My daughter is doing magnets and flyer with hers and I feel that I can not copy or do the same for my sons. Flyers will be mis-placed or whatever.

Can anyone one of you ladies come up with some suggestions for me? All ideas and sugestions are welcomed!

Thank you and I will be waiting for your input

Hello Mother! My e-mail is down otherwise I'd e-mail you. Thank you first of all for not wanting to duplicate my STD's....I just had a thought. What if you do some research and see if anyone sells stickers that you can print on or just do the small white mailing labels with a pretty pic and font so people can just peel it off and stick it on their calendar on July 4th. Just an idea.....

Re: Save The Date HELP

Hello Daughter
I've been getting very concerned why I haven't received an e-mail. I can stop my emailing withdrawal.

You do not have to thank me for not copying your idea. I wouldn't do that at all. However, I do love the magnet idea!

I did a real through internet search yesterday and came up with tons of ideas as far as wording. Many of the sites have a lot of magnet styles. I have been trying to be mindly creative and have been working on cards. So far they're coming out very nice. You have the creative mind, I have the creative hands.

I'm heading over to the site that one of the ladies left for me here as her reply.

We so think alike. I have also created a calendar with the date circled to be incorporated on a card. Its amazing!!!!

Love and miss you daughter

Re: Save The Date HELP

Thank you.. They're so cute but out of my price range. I need to send out 50 STD's. 98% of my family and friends are from Long Island. My son and I live upstate and here is where the wedding will be held. The coasters are sold by 6's.

However, I am going to try to sort out some of the crafting stores to see if I could buy just the coaster and create the design myself. I really want something different.

After I get the STD's done, it will be time to research the rehearsal dinner, wedding day brunch and the day after brunch.

I'll keep you posted on what i find.
