Save the date: last names?

Save the date: last names?

Is this necessary? It looks cute with just first names, but are the parents cousins and whatnot going to know who it is for?

Yes we put our last names on as well

The couples :) A lot of the designs I'm seeing suggest just the first name

We used last names. Our design had it, plus a lot of people are cousins who might not know right away, ESPECIALLY if there is no picture

We added ours just to make sure cousins and friends of our parents knew exactly who the wedding is for. I also liked having our last names b/c it's one of the last times I'll us my current last name

we used just first names... our wedding website tho had our last names in it though...

I'm working on our STDs now and the design I want includes last names but now that u mention it, I like the idea of putting only our first names, it does look cute and I really don't think it should be a problem, I mean all your wedding guests will know either the groom, the bride, or both. I think I'll put our first names only. Thank u for the idea!

my STD has both first and last names, but the last names were in a fainter color and our first names were written over top the last name in a darker color and different font

we did first & middle on the STD and then the return address labels had our last names

I think it's a matter of preference, too.

We're using last names, but only because our STDs do not have our picture on them.

We didn't put our last names...when ours were being made I requested that it only have our first names. I think it makes it a bit more casual since it is just a save the date :)
