We did the same thing :) It works out great and everyone loved them.

Re: Save the Date Magnets
Just a quick question--how do you format your design to fit on each magnet?

Re: Save the Date Magnets
This brand gave us a template but I think Avery - who also makes some for a little more $ - also gives a template or # that's on your PC anyway. Like labels you print.

Re: Save the Date Magnets
I LOVE this idea! thanks!
Until you can get a pic of your sister's cards, can you share what info she put on the magnet?
Will she mail it out with a letter containing other info?

Re: Save the Date Magnets
Ours were Avery too. We lucked out and got them on clearence for about $5 for a pack of 30. They were so easy to print. We put a picture of ourselves on it along with a frame and all the info. Then we ordered blank cards with a rose on the front from a paper supply store (100 cards for $22) and printed them our ourselves too. The front said 'We're getting married' and inside said basically we were getting married, hope you can join use, more info to follow. We put the magnets in the cards and mailed them out (.37 cents postage was all we needed). I have a picture of the magnet itself if anyone wants to see it. You can email me at: [email protected] I can scan the card and send it to you too if you want to take a look, let me know. Kathy

Here's the one design I saved. I think she may have changed the font a little but not much. She used ideas from My wedding labels.com
