Save the date magnets

Save the date magnets

Hi Ladies,
Usually, I just linger and don't really talk but I have a couple of questions. I wanted to send out save the date magnets. I found one I liked on magnet street.com. Has anyone used them or are there any other sites or places that you used? Also, how far in advance did you send things? I am using these as 'engagement announcements' too because I am not having an e party. Is there a time frame to send them out to early or late?
Thanks so much!

Re: Save the date magnets

How funny I plan on ordering my STD's with Magnet Street tonight (as soon as FH wakes from his rainy day nap).

They have a great selection and sent me a really impressive sales kit. I don't know anyone that ordered with them but I intend to. Their prices are good too.

I figure it will take a couple of weeks to get them. I plan on sending them out in late June/early July (10 months before the big day). Most timelines say you should send them 12-9 months in advance.

I got the free sample kit and I really liked them. I figure if I get them in June, I will send them out when school is over (I am a teacher) and that will be 12 months before about. I feel it is too super soon. Also, are you sending it out to everyone you are inviting or just some select people. I kinda just want to send to family and the bridal party but fh wants to send to his friends. This is so confusing! LOL
Thanks so much for replying :)

My pleasure to respond
I plan on sending them to everyone we are inviting. I know sending it to everyone makes it kinda difficult bc you basically have to finalize your invite list so far in advance. I am just going to do the best I can.

We didn't have an engagment party either(just a dinner with close family and the bridal party back in February).

It does get confusing but we're all in this together!! You'll do just fine

Re: Save the date magnets

Magnet street has good quality magnets...I ordered their sample pack and I was impressed. As for time frame in sending them out, people say 1 yr in advance. I have received one six months in advance.

Thanks so much everyone for your responses. I guess I will order the ones I want. I saw another site - the magnet queen.

Thanks again, :)

We're planning on sending out our STD about a year before.

As far as engagement announcements, I'd say ASAP. Just to let everyone know about your happiness I don't think there is a 'too soon' on that one!
