Save The Date Mess

We are having such an issue with our save the dates. I hate USPS!!
Our Save The Dates are made to look like Concert VIP Passes, so the envelope is a little on the bulky side. I weighed the envelope several times on the postal scale in my office and every time it said 44 cents. I also did 2 test mailings and both people got them both times. I thought we were all good and sent them all out. Some people got them right away, others are just getting them, a bunch got returned to us and some are just lost out there some where. Now I have no way of knowing who got them and who didn't so now i need to check in with everyone. and we wasted all this money on postage. I'm so upset! I don't understand how some envelopes need more postage when they are all identical!!

Wow, sorry to hear that. I'd be really upset also. Thats going to have to take a lot of extra work to figure out who did and who didn't get the STD's. If you have everyones emails maybe send out a bulk email and have ppl respond. Or a bulk text msg also and ppl can reply with a text. Maybe that can cut down the calls you'll have to make. Also next time maybe take it to the post office and have them weigh it for you and add the correct amount of postage to each envelope b4 sending it out (if thats an option). Its crazy to me also how some envelopes weigh more than others
