Re: Save the date poem...

I put a poem on my engagement invite that went like this

__met__one summer (or winter, etc.) day,
The rest is history as one might say.
_____years later, he was down on one knee
She said 'Yes!' when he asked
'Will you marry me?'

How about:
'Will you marry me?' he asked
'Yes!' she said
So please save the date
For when we wed!

This one's a bit longer:

He popped the big question,
“Will you be my wife?”
And she said, “I will love you,
the rest of my life.”
Now they’re planning a wedding,
And all are excited.
So keep this date handy,
Because you’ll be invited!

I love that! You mind if I borrow it for mine when I send them?
