Save the Date Question...

How far in advance are you supposed to send out your save the dates?

i would say 9 months to a year...

Im sending them out a year before my wedding date.

Mine will be going out 10 months before the wedding (one month from today )

I agree. I just sent mine out last week... a little less than 6 mos to go (yes, I was kinda late).

I am handing mine out at the e-party on June 6th. That is over a year before. My guests get to think of me for a year!!!!

I mailed mine out this past weekend.
so 6months.

But that's because my date isnt really near any holidays. I'd send it out earlier if it were.

We sent them out about 10 months before.

honestly, I would send them out ASAP if you want as many people as possible to come. I know some of my guests were waiting for me to name a date because they are booking trips for new year.

Send later, like a few months, if your guest list is out of control and are banking on some cancellations (it happens!)
