Save the Date Question

Hi ladies,

I have a couple of STD related questions.

1. My wedding is next August, but on a Thurs. When is an appropriate time to send out the stds? I was thinking nine months before the wedding. Does that sound right?

2. I really want to do a magnet. Does anyone have websites that sell magnets that they have had a good experience with?

I sent mine out a week afte the 1-year mark. But I think you're good to send them any time now.

I used magnetstreet.com. They came out great

I got my save the date magnets on ebay. I paid $90 for 70 magnets, with magnet holders and envelopes.

That was the best price I found.

i did magnets but forgot where i got them lol. we sent ours out over a year b4. u can send them out whenever!

I got mine from agiftfulheart.com. They came out great, but were more expensive than others I saw. The quality is very nice though! I'm sending mine out hopefully within the next 2 weeks. Gotta get on that!

I'm also a Thursday next summer and I sent the STD's out as soon as they were ready. FMIL made them on magnet paper (she does favors, invitations, etc) I let everyone know before we booked that it would probably be that day (and got the ok to do Thursday instead of Sunday). They went out about 11 months before the wedding but I wanted them out early due to vacations and people can decide whether or not they are taking Friday off. I say do it whenever you feel is best but I'd do it earlier rather than later. Good Luck!

I used Vistaprint as well. I took advantage of their free sale (that is basically always going on) and paid only $13+ for 50 magnets (including photo upload and shipping)

We got ours on ebay & got 100 for like $40. Loved them! We got engaged on 12-25-08 and sent them out a month later (end of Jan) b/c we were getting married in less than a year (8 months to be exact).

I used vistaprint and I think any time once you hit the year mark or after is a good time to send them out.

Vistaprint was great! Great prices and the quality of the design is very good...I will say that the magnet is a bit thinner than typical magnets but it does the job and at that price I cant complain!
