Save the date question
I uploaded our sample save the date in my album. Do you guys think I need to add Babylon, New York or is it fine the way it is? Just about everyone who is invited that's out of state knows its on LI... Thoughts are appreciated ??

Re: Save the date question
It looks great.I don't think a location is necessary, we didn't but we did add our last names.

Re: Save the date question
If most people know where the wedding is, I don't think it's necessary.

I would also add your last names.. I know people should know you by pictures but... lets face it.. common sense is lacking these days LOL

That's a nice one! Love it! I didn't add a town either. We'll give people hotel block info when the time comes so nobody really needs to plan that out this far in advance.

It looks great!! I think it's really up to you if you add it or not. I didn't, figuring I would just have it on the invitation.

I think the location is not necessary, if everyone knows it. I am including our wedding website URL on our Save the Date, so that people can access additional info on there (hotel block, exact locations of church and venue, etc.).

I am happy that we had the town written on ours for two reasons- one, we didn't include our last names. So if my dad's 90 year old uncle gets it and says who the **** is this? The town that I grew up in might give him a bit of a hint. Second, while I am doing a hotel block, I have many MANY out of town guests. I like knowing that I have provided them with a little bit of information for them to go ahead and book somethings on their own- perhaps they dont want to stay at my hotel or maybe they want to make the trip a vacation since they will have to fly there. An alternative idea might be to add a link to your wedding website, we did that too. Im all about giving out information so that if someone doesn't know something its not my fault! haha. But beautiful STD as is!

That is an awesome save the date and clever idea with the calendar but I think adding your names and the location would be good as well.

The website thing is probably more along the lines of what I'm thinking although hubby to be is not so excited about that idea. Thanks for your feedback
