how long before my wedding should i send these out? also, what about the 'final list?' what if i dont know everyoone i am going to invite?

Ideally they should be sent about 6 months before the wedding. Just send them to people you absolultely 100% plan to invite. We only sent ours to the out of town guests so they can get a jump start on some hotel reservations or look into airfares, etc.

I agree with Christine..... Send them out to all the people you are 100% inviting especially if your are having your wedding during a holiday weekend so all those out of towners can mark their calendars.
I sent out mine earlier this month for my May 2004 wedding.
