Save the date- questions

I am making my save the date letters this week. When I send them out, do I send it to everyone that is invited? It is going to have hotel info on there too. Should I just send it to those who may need the hotel? Thanks ladies...

Re: Save the date- questions

We sent them to almost everybody, and only included the hotel info in the ones who were traveling. We did this though because it was a holiday weekend. If it wasn't, I don't know if I would have sent them to everyone, probably just those that were traveling.

Re: Save the date- questions

I sent the STD card to everyone and included hotel info for everyone. You would be surprised how many in-town guests we had want to stay at the hotel overnight. They didn't want to drive home after the wedding. Our reception is that the Hamlet, next door to the Wyndam so they can just walk to their rooms.

Oh michele, good point. Local people may want to stay at the hotel too! I guess I should add hotel info on all the save the dates! Thanks...

Re: Save the date- questions

I agree with Michele...DH and I stayed overnight at a wedding 45 min away in Westchester...but it was so nice to be able to enjoy the wedding and stay to the end...

Re: Save the date- questions

I agree also.. I will be sending STD's to everyone.. Not only do we have people from all over coming, but we our immediate friends and family are partiers and they'll most likely make a weekend out of it and I'd like to give them the info..

BTW.. anyone know where I can get a whole bunch of pamphlets and tourism stuff on New York?? where in New York can I pick this stuff up??

I want to put together a nice newsletter, along with the STD magnets and all the other info.. and I'd like to include a NYC pamphlet or something..
