save the date questions

hey girls. im about to mail my STD's.
I did magnets from magnet queen. what was the postage and did you bring all the magnets to the post office and have them do it or buy postage first. i dont want to make a big ordeal over this. do they have to be hand canceled?

I didnt even really think about all that. I just put it in the envelope and then stuck a regular stamp on it and then put them in the mailbox. I had no problems.

I just sent mine out, I brought them to the post office, weighed them there, bought the stamps, and then just stamped them there and gave them to the guy to send out. HTH!

When we sent out our save the dates they only needed one stamp. We went to the post office and they weighed it for us.

I had the business card sized ones and they just needed one stamp. If yours are bigger I suggest going to the post office first just to make sure.

I had a large size, like 4x6, I also included two cut out card stock with hotel info (have two hotels blocked) and a blank card stock in the back to cover the magnet (paranoid a little ) I took one to the Post office and it was exactly one stamp needed. I took them home and stamped as I labled them. So you should be good.
