Save the Dates

First...When do we mail these out? How far in advance...second can you vote on your fav? We like the Scratch off ones because well FI won a lot of money on one in Jan, and thats how we got the money to get engaged and also his brother won A HUGE AMOUNT from one last year so it's a family vote about scratch off luck running in the family....

somebody else on this board had the ones with the car, but i voted for that one b/c i think that it is so cute! and you guys are pretty lucky! i did find a dollar today in the parking lot though!

I sent STD cards and included magnets with it. We sent them after our e-party, about 9 months before the wedding. Include any travel info if you have out of town guests.

Travel arrangements like what? Hotel's, directions? And should I really sned them with the STD's or do I wait till formal invites??

I think we're using the car one! It's so cute!! We have a thing in our family with scratch offs too. We give them for every birthday/holiday. Years back my Aunt won $77,777!!

I'm going to mail them in Sept for our May wedding. I'm not sure if you're supposed to include travel info with STDs or invitations!

i dont know much about STD etiquette but the last one we received had the hotel info so you could book when ready....another cute idea that saves on postage is mailing the std in your christmas cards. We got one like that and i thought it was a cute idea!

ETA: by the way, i voted for the car!!! so cute!

Ok, good idea's thanks, I think we mail in about 8 weeks...Ker....FI's brother won $5000 a week for life last year....Thats what I meant by him winning big....FI won $11,000...thought that was a lot..but your aunt ...where'd she by that ticket....lol!!!

I sent out a STD magnet with my Holiday cards - so that was about 11 months before the wedding!!

I think they are all really cute!!

I'm So excited that car STD is mine. I sent them out a few months ago and they were such a hit. Everyone that sees them tells me how cute/great idea it is. I didnt send out any hotel info or anything with it b/c I sent my out really early b/c we were kinda using them as engagement announcements.

They are going to be a huge hit believe me everyone asks me where I got them from.
