Save The Dates

This may sound stupid to some of you and I'm sorry but I need to ask. Do you have to mail out STDS to everyone invited to your wedding? I understand the whole reason for them, it just seems like another way of spending money. Do you order them online? Thanks

Re: Save The Dates

I made mine on the computer, I bought postcard templates from staples, on the front was a picture of a couple and on the other side it said we were getting married and save the date, it was really easy to do, and very inexpensive, and just have to use postcard stamp. I did send one to everyone invited, but I guess that is up to you. Sorry the pic isn't the greatest

We only sent them to the people we really want to come to our wedding. We did not send them to the 'crazy relatives' that we 'had to' invite.

We ordered ours online from Sandstone Invitations-they are less than a dollar each. We are sending them to people on our A list only (we have to have two lists unfortunately) We mainly decided to do them because he has family in Ireland (his mother is from there and comes from a family of 16 she is the only one in the US!) and we have a lot of family living out of town (my mother comes from a family of 11 and most are out of state) So we felt it was necessary to give them a heads up with some info so if they do plan on coming they can start saving and making arragements etc.

We're doing them but we have a TON of out-of-town guests. I don't think you really need them if your guests are mostly locals.
I got mine at www.magnetguy.com - but they are more expensive than the others I've seen on here - about $1.60 each.
