Save the Dates

When do you send out your Save the Dates???

I started handing mine out in August, and mailed out the last ones today. So for me, 7 - 10 months before. I didn't check the protocol on this, I figured as soon as I got them I'd start giving them out so people could 'save the date'!

Mine are due in next week and I'm going to put them in the mail as soon as I get them. So about 7 months before. But I've been told to send them out whenever you want.

Mine is May and I just ordered them the other day. I'll be sending them out at the end of the month.

Depends, We are getting married a holiday weekend and have a lot of out of towners. We sent ours out to the out of towners eleven months and every one else will get there's in the new year.

Sent mine out a week or two ago. A lot of guests are out of towners that didn't even know we were engaged so I wanted to let them know. Also wanted to give them the details of the hotel block.

We got engaged in February, I sent them out I think around end of March/April. About a year in advance.

We just finished designing ours. I want to get them out before the postage rate increase, but first I have to block hotel rooms, so I can include the information. My wedding is in October, so about 10 months in advance.

We're sending ours out about 7 months before hand, but I've gotten them anywhere from 1-1/2 years to 4 months before hand.

I have 3 on my fridge now for:
April 15, 2006
May 28, 2006
July 1, 2007

It's totally up to you.

We sent ours in Dec & Jan for our October wedding. It was great to put in our Christmas cards...

I was thinking I might have to send them super early b/c its a holiday weekend... But I guess I can wait until like March or something.

When is this postage increase happening... Is it that much that I should send them out b/4 hand?
