SAVE THE DATES

I was thinking of sending out a 'SAVE THE DATE' Magnet about 9 months prior.

Anyone thinking of sending a Save the Date or is it pointless?

I'm sending them 9 months before as well. I think there a wonderful idea, and a great way to have your guest look forward to their invitation!!

I don't think it's pointless at all especially if you're getting married on a holiday weekend. I'm getting married on the week of the 4th of July so I'll definitely be sending out my STD's about 1 year before

I'm giving them out at the e party in April. I like the magnet idea so they don't get lost.

I will be sending mine out in the next month. I have a lot of out of town guests who need to book hotels and airfair.

I am sending them out about 1 year before. I want people to know that I have rooms blocked at a sepecific hotel. The block of rooms is released 1 month prior to my wedding date so I think they should know way before hand!
